Raul Danny Vargas President Danny Vargas is President and founding member of VARCom Solutions, LLC. Danny utilizes his over 20 years of experience in management, business development, sales and international relations to lead all aspects of this unique Marketing/Sales Consulting, Training, and Communications Support company. Prior to VARCom Solutions, Danny was most recently the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the US and Latin America for France Telecom's carrier division. He developed and implemented sales and marketing strategies for carrier voice, internet, mobile and data services in the two regions. He was responsible for achieving revenue, margin, and cost targets and launched their marketing communications plan for their initial US market entry. Previously, Danny spent six years with Global One where he held positions of increasing responsibility in program management, sales support, and sales. As Director of Corporate and Carrier Sales for the Americas Region, Danny's organization generated over $140M in revenue in 1999. He also played a critical role in the development of Global One's sales and partnering strategy in Latin America. Before joining Global One, Danny worked for a government contractor subsidiary of Raytheon Corporation in northern Virginia. Danny played a key role in expanding their business in both leading a team of intelligence analysts and trainers directly supporting government agencies as well as managing the launch of a business specializing in satellite/wireless communications-based vehicle tracking systems in Latin America. Danny served seven years in the United States Air Force. Much of that time was as an Operations Manager and Intelligence Analyst in the Republic of Panama where he also supervised airborne reconnaissance missions routinely reporting on matters of national security to key decision makers and national authorities, including the White House. Throughout his career, Danny has been a very
effective public speaker in a diversity of venues and has had extensive
contact with the media. Danny has a Bachelor of Arts with a major
in management from National Louis University and is fluent in Spanish. |
