Karen Ryan Group announced that its president, Karen Ryan, was selected to serve on the board of directors of Women in Film & Video. In her position Ms. Ryan will also serve on the executive committee as Vice President of Communications.

"I never thought I had time to volunteer, said Ms. Ryan, but after being helped by so many people in the industry I decided to find the time to give back and lend my skills and my time."

Women in Film & Video (WIFV) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the professional development and achievement for women working in all areas of film, television, video multimedia and related disciplines. WIFV supports women in the industry by promoting equal opportunities, encouraging professional development, serving as an information network and educating the public about women's creative and technical achievements.
